Charity Footprints Virtual Run – SAAM

In 2014, Indiana was rated #2 in the nation for the highest rates of adolescent sexual violence in the country by the CDC. Indiana females, in grades 9th -12th, have 17.3% reporting rate of forced sexual assault. The reported nationwide statistic is 10.5%.
Fair Haven is Lake County, Indiana’s Rape Crisis Center. We have a vision to create a caring, safe, and nurturing community with a zero tolerance for violence. We invite you to join with us in our efforts to eradicate sexual violence from our community.
SELF CARE
Our virtual run is all about mind, body, and spirit health! We recognize that not everyone is super physically active. Please include the following activities in your log of fitness!
– Journaling: 1 mile
– Meditation: 1 mile
– Prayer/Worship: 1 mile
– Bubble bath / hot shower: 0.5 miles
– Watching your favorite movie: 0.5 miles
– Playing a game: 1 mile
– Sleeping in: 0.5 miles
– Any other form of self-care: 1 mile
