For more than 20 years, Fair Haven has helped survivors find hope, healing, and a path forward. What began with $500, one program, and a coffee pot has grown into Northwest Indiana's only stand-alone rape crisis center. But one critical need remained: safe, stable housing. That need became Portside Suites.

Step one a Permanent Anchor

Fair Haven Headquarters In 2024, Fair Haven purchased its first permanent headquarters in Highland, creating long-term stability for the organization and a permanent home for survivor services.

Step two: A Safe Harbor

Portside Suites Acquisition Fair Haven changed course from new construction and acquired an existing multifamily property—expanding Portside Suites from five planned apartments to seven private suites and allowing us to serve survivors sooner

Step Three: Sea It Through

Now, We Turn Housing Into Home. The building is secured. Now we need your help making Portside Suites safe, welcoming, and ready for survivors.
