Fair Haven’s Transitional Housing
Portside Suites | Welcome HOME!
Hope Has an Address. Healing Has Space. Stability Starts Here
Welcome Home to Portside Suites
At Fair Haven, we believe home is more than a place to live. It is a place to find stability,
rediscover hope, and begin building a future filled with possibility.
Our transitional housing program is built on a simple belief: Every life matters and making a
difference for one person can change everything.
Through Portside Suites, we are committed to providing more than temporary housing. We
walk alongside survivors as they overcome barriers, build independence, and work toward
lasting stability.
Our approach is intentional and individualized. We recognize that each survivor’s journey is
unique, and we are committed to making every opportunity for healing, growth, and
progress count.
One survivor. One journey. One meaningful difference at a time.
Who is eligible?
A survivor who has experienced
-
sexual assault
-
sex trafficking
-

and that survivor is homeless or in need of transitional housing due to a lack of emergency shelter or other crisis intervention services being unavailable or insufficient.
Our transitional housing will be provided in two ways

Clustered site housing model, a multi-unit property with a confidential address that is managed by our Transitional Housing Program.
This housing support can be provided from 6 to 24 months.
While in the program
During their time in the program residents can have access to safe, long term housing while
they work towards permanent housing opportunities.
Access to individualized support, goal planning, and connection to community resources
through our case management.
Residents have the ability to attain assistance with budgeting, and other financial
education and planning.
Survivors can also be connected with a number of health services such as therapy, and
medical care.
Additionally, the program plans to address food insecurity and career training
Everything listed above will be made possible with the support from our community
partners.

An Extension of Our Commitment
For more than 20 years, Fair Haven has been a light in the darkness for individuals impacted by sexual violence, intimate partner violence, and human trafficking, providing compassionate advocacy, crisis intervention, education, and support.
The addition of Portside Suites Transitional Housing represents another meaningful step in that commitment. We recognize that finding safety is often just the beginning. Having a stable place to call home creates opportunities for survivors to rebuild their lives, overcome barriers, regain confidence, and work toward lasting independence.
Through individualized support and a commitment to each survivor’s unique journey, Portside Suites offers more than temporary shelter. It provides a place to find steady ground, rediscover hope, and begin building a future beyond the violence they have experienced.
As we continue to grow, our commitment remains unchanged: to be a light in the darkness, a source of hope and healing, and a safe port in the storm for every survivor we serve.
