Kelly Vates
Executive Director
Kelly is the Cofounder and Executive Director of Fair Haven Rape Crisis Center and a Survivor, Thriver & Overcomer of sexual violence and exploitation.
Kelly is a recovery veteran, visionary, published author & national presenter on sexual trauma. She has a passion for people as well as dogs and is a Certified TDI Handler for Fair Haven’s Certified Therapy Dog- Aspen.
Kelly has a strong background in both management, entrepreneurship and serves her Heavenly Father with her whole heart.

Rebecca Alvarez
Operations Director
Becky started with Fair Haven in March of 2019.
She earned her Bachelor of Human Resources degree from Purdue and her MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management.
Becky loves working with people and problem solving. Outside of work, she enjoys all things outdoors, watching her kids play sports, and dancing in the kitchen.

Shana Robertson
Community Relations Director
Shana joined Fair Haven RCC’s mission in 2014. “I think that forming partnerships with like-minded people and challenging belief systems through education, will help towards eradicating sexual violence in the community.” Shana has a Bachelor of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences from Purdue Northwest and has received an Outstanding Service Award by the Indiana Coalition to End Sexual Assault for her prevention work at Fair Haven RCC.
Shana loves her family and friends, serving the Lord, helping the community and spreads whimsical fun whenever she can.

Becca Emerson
Anti-Trafficking Coordinator
Becca began as a Volunteer Advocate in 2015, hired as full time in August 2016. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Human Development and Family Studies from Purdue Northwest in 2016. Becca moved into a leadership position in 2017, overseeing Direct Services, then moving into Anti-Trafficking services in 2021. She works hard every day to provide excellent care to everyone who walks through the doors of Fair Haven. She enjoys long drives with loud music, playing with her pups, and a cheesy pepperoni pizza.

Jenna Martin
Direct Services Coordinator
Jenna joined the Fair Haven as a Victim Advocate in June 2020 and promoted to Direct Services Coordinator in October of 2021. Jenna has earned her Associates Degree and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Indiana University Northwest. Jenna has a kind heart and great passion for this work.
She enjoys hiking, watching Netflix, and hanging out with her lizard.

Maya Rosales
Assistant Coordinator
Maya has been a part of Fair Haven since June 2021. She has earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Indiana University Northwest. Maya loves art and has a passion for youth services.
In her spare time, she loves to cuddle with her cat named Chicken Alfredo and her English bulldog named Freddie. She is currently looking to pursue her Master’s in Social Work.

Melissa Perkins
Grants & Finance Manager
Melissa started with Fair Haven in June of 2015. She earned her Associate in Business Management degree from South Suburban College. In her spare time, Melissa enjoys crafting, camping & hiking with her family.

Rachael McConnell
Prevention & Education Coordinator
Rachael started with Fair Haven in June of 2021. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Ball State University and is currently working towards her Master of Social Work degree from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis. Rachael loves being out in the community and empowering youth. Outside of work, she spends her time playing with her cats and working out.
